Dr. Aseem Inam

Dr. Aseem Inam is Professor and Chair in Urban Design in the School of Architecture at Cardiff University in the UK, Founding Director of TRULAB: Laboratory for Designing Urban Transformation, and Honorary Professor at The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment in University College London.

He is the author of three books, Planning for the Unplanned, Designing Urban Transformation, and Co-Designing Publics.  He is currently working on his fourth book on valuable insights into the often-surprising ways in which contemporary cities are actually “designed.”  He has practiced as an architect and urbanist and collaborated with communities in Brazil, Canada, France, Greece, Haiti, India, United Kingdom, and United States.
